Licensed speech-language pathologist · 17 years
Most people are told they need more confidence. That's not the problem. Something specific in how you speak is costing you the room — and it can be named, and it can be trained.

The read
Every coach will hand you tips and hope one lands. I was trained to find the mechanism first. Pick the thing you recognize and I'll tell you what's actually happening.
Start here — $97
Send a recording of yourself speaking. I review it personally, then we get on a live call where I walk you through exactly what's happening and what to do about it.

About
I'm a licensed speech-language pathologist. For most of my career that meant sitting with someone, listening closely, and finding the specific mechanical reason their speech wasn't doing what they needed it to do.
Then I started working with experts — founders, consultants, people stepping into leadership — and heard the same thing over and over. Smart people, real expertise, and a delivery that quietly undercut all of it. Nobody had ever told them what was actually happening. They'd been handed confidence advice for a mechanical problem.
Presence isn't a personality trait. It's a skill — and skills have mechanics you can name.
So I built The Presence Method™ around the thing I was already trained to do: assess first, then train. I also work alongside my husband Charles at Creators Lead, where he handles strategy and I handle how it sounds coming out of your mouth.
You're not a bad speaker. You were never taught.
The framework
Five steps, in this order. Each one fixes something the next one depends on — which is why skipping to delivery tips never works.
Decide who's speaking before you open your mouth. Your speaker identity is chosen, not summoned.
The room isn't your audience. One person is. Speaking to one is what makes every listener feel spoken to.
Outline the structure. Say the rest like you mean it. Your personality lives between the bullet points.
You don't rehearse your way to presence. You rep your way there — unscripted, out loud, messy first.
Pace, tone, volume. The three levers that decide whether they hear a leader or scroll past. This is the clinical part.
Work with me
Everything here begins the same way — finding out what's actually going on when you speak. You can do that with me directly, or work through it on your own.
We get on a call, I listen to you speak, and I tell you exactly what's costing you the room — then we start working on it. Not a discovery call. You leave with the read and the first drill.

It's a feeling standing in for a fact. The fact is smaller, more specific, and far more fixable than you think. Let's find out what yours is.
